The Fan Dancer, part exotic dancer, part bird, part furniture, incarnates the process of women's aging and loss of sexuality as she performed the "Dance of the Honeybees" in a hula skirt made out of old table legs in front of her nest/throne.

Her counterpart, a Magritte-like figure, read personal texts while films played.
