______TEXT INFORMATION: the text content you want to include on your site needs to be typed into the computer as TEXT FILES.
______SUBJECT AREAS: Think about what different areas of information --- GRAPHICS, and LINKS (i.e.: other areas of information that are related to the subject currently being examined by the viewer), or LISTS --- that you may want to include on your site. A rudimentary outline or SIMPLE FLOWCHART will help provide a starting point for the organization of your material. Be aware that things probably will change somewhat as the page layouts and navigation through the site are developed.
______LISTING OF LINKS: You must research your own links (FOR EXAMPLE: other programs, sites, procedures, etc. outside of your own site which should be interconnected) and provide the designer with all relevant URLs (Web addresses). I can read a BOOKMARK LIST (and can explain how you can make one).
______DIGITAL GRAPHIC OF LOGO(if you have one): If you are planning to animate it, I need to know. If you have an animation already, then I need a copy.
______PICTURE FILES: Any pictures that you plan to incorporate into the site need to be chosen. If work needs to be photographed or scanned then I need to arrange for this to be done.
______MEDIA GRAPHICS: all video/audio sequences must be provided and clips (sections) cued or clearly marked for "digitizing" (i.e.: transforming into a computer-based medium).
______TECHNICAL ISSUES: you will need to answer some questions about their Web hosting service or I can arrange a consultation between my programmer and your IT (internal tech) staff or web hosting provider. |
